As reported by BroadwayWorld, internationally celebrated Irish-American dancer Michael Flatley will be making his Broadway debut this November when his recent London smash Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games makes its way to New York.

DANGEROUS GAMES marks Flatley's farewell as a performer after creating the internationally-recognizable brand LORD OF THE DANCE which has brought Irish Dance to a global audience with productions in countless countries around the world for over two decades.

After an early career touring with Green Fields of America and The Chieftains, Michael Flatley gained international acclaim as star and creator of RIVERDANCE after this 1994 telecast of Eurovision Song Contest.

Creative differences with the producers led to Flatley's departure from RIVERDANCE, but he wasted no time in creating new Irish dance shows under the brand, LORD OF THE DANCE. Here he is in 1998's FEET OF FLAMES.

Flatley and his troupe have been thrilling audiences ever since with their rapid-fire routines, including this 2007 performance on DANCING WITH THE STARS.

Trailblazing Irish dancer Michael Flatley, making his long-awaited Broadway debut in Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, is the creator of the internationally-recognizable brand Lord of the Dance which singlehandedly brought Irish Dance to a global audience with productions in countless countries around the world for over two decades.

The limited Broadway engagement of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games will feature Flatley in a special appearance at the end of each evening performance as well as a troupe of Irish Dance's most accomplished performers, and featuring Flatley protégés Morgan Comer, James Keegan and Cathal Keaney in the title role of the "Lord of the Dance." The show also features exciting and ground-breaking new technology, including holographs, special effects lighting, dancing robots, world champion acrobats andof course the greatest team of Irish Dancers in the world. The score is composed by Gerard Fahy.
