TinyRhino is: The Theatrical Drinking Game. It is also UglyRhino's take on the ten-minute play festival. Every month we commission six playwrights to write new plays, each including the same five dramatic elements. They might show up at any time, in any order, and with any frequency. When they do show up, they are cues for the audience to drink.

This month's playwrights include: Max Freedman (Beertown), Beth Jastroch (The Shelter Presents: ART), Jerry Lieblich (Unequivocal Proof for the Existence of a Benevolent God), Tim J. Lord (We Declare You A Terrorist), David A. Miller (Leaving IKEA: A Play in Two Cantos), and Dan Moyer (You May Be Splendid Now).

This month's directors include: Nelson Eusebio III (12N), Sarah E.R. Grosman (Moon & Marble), Katie Lindsay (VoxFest), Louisa Proske (In a Year with 13 Moons), Brett Robinson (Fornicated From The Beatles), and Nicole A. Watson (We Play For The Gods).

January's drinking game elements will include: someone asks for a cigarette, someone uses a form of the word "inaugurate", someone cries for help, a nervous tick, and someone does the Charleston.

TinyRhino will be on Monday, January 21st at 8pm at the Brooklyn Lyceum (227 4th Avenue at Union Street, Brooklyn). Tickets are $10 at the door, which includes one free beer. Every TinyRhino also features live jazz music, drink specials and giveaways, and a cocktail hour following the performance.
