Check out this new press release about the show:

"Two additional performances have been added to the premiere run of Tom Hewitt in Another Medea at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The provocative monodrama, written and directed by Aaron Mark, will now also play Sunday, April 14that 4:00 and Wednesday, April 17th at 7:00.

In Another Medea, Tony nominated actor Tom Hewitt plays the incarcerated Marcus Sharp, a one time New York actor who recounts in gruesome detail how his obsessions with a man named Jason and the myth of Medea lead to horrific, unspeakable events. Writer-director Aaron Mark (director of Patti Issues) describes the eighty-minute monologue as "Grand Guignol horror in the style of Spalding Gray". Despite its cabaret setting, Another Medea is all spoken and is not for the faint of heart.

Tom Hewitt has starred in New York as such iconic and varied villains as the title role in Dracula, Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Scar in The Lion King, Captain Hook in Peter Pan, and Long John Silver in Treasure Island. Another Medea gives audiences the opportunity to see Hewitt's tour de force in a much more intimate setting.

Aaron Mark is the director of Ben Rimalower's critically acclaimed Patti Issues, which has been running at The Duplex since August and will soon be seen around the country. His most recent independent feature film, Commentary, features Tom Hewitt in an ensemble of Broadway veterans that also includes Alison Fraser, Chip Zien, Leslie Kritzer, and Liz Larsen. His other feature films are Random Unrelated Projects (Best Experimental Feature, NYIFF) andZbornik Developing (available at SethTV.com), and his plays, Failed Suicide Attempts (Living Room Series, Blank Theatre in Hollywood), Clown Play (8 Plays in 8 Days, Hamilton Stage), F*cking Wagner, Dead Agenting, Jackson, Plays With Landline Phones, Subject, Bait, and Deer are all in various stages of "development".

Another Medea will now play Sunday, April 7th at 4:00, Tuesday, April 9th at 9:30, Sunday, April 14th at 4:00, and Wednesday, April 17th at 7:00 at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre (61 Christopher Street at 7th Avenue).

Tickets are $10 in advance. $15 at the door, plus a 2-drink minimum."
