Producer Janet B. Rosen announced today that she will present two private industry readings of the critically acclaimed new musical In Transit on Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8, 2015. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), In Transit features a book, music and lyrics by Academy Award winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Frozen), James-Allen Ford, Russell Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth.

The industry reading will feature a cast of eleven led by Lindsay Mendez (Wicked), Erin Mackey (Chaplin) and Ben Crawford (Shrek) and featuring Ryan Andes (Big Fish), Moya Angela (Ghost), Adam Bashian (The Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary Tour), Colin Hanlon (Rent), Justin Keyes (How to Succeed...), Lulu Picart(Disenchanted!), Jamila Sabares-Klemm (Hair First National Tour) and Chesney Snow (In Transit).

Eleven performers take on multiple roles in this new kind of modern musical that brings to life a vivid tapestry of characters and music in the city that never sleeps...or stands still. Inspired by the vibrant rhythms and sounds of life on the subway, In Transit follows the intertwining journeys of an aspiring actress, a fledgling financier, a street-savvy beatboxer, a cab driver, and others as they find their way in New York City.
