Tony Award Nominee David Rockwell Wins Art Directors Guild Award

Architect, set designer and Tony nominee David Rockwell won at the Art Directors Guild Awards, held in Beverly Hills on Saturday, February 5. Rockwell won for his work in designing for the 82nd annual Academy Awards.

Other winners included Eve Stewart (The King's Speech), Guy Hendrix Dyas (Inception), Therese DePrez (BLACK SWAN), Dan Bishop (Mad Men), Richard Berg (Modern Family), Robb Wilson King (Secrets in the Walls, and Keith Raywood, Eugene Lee, Akira Yoshimura and N. Joseph DeTullio (Saturday Night Live).

Rockwell will be represented on Broadway this coming spring by the new production of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. His other stage credits include Hairspray, for which he received a Tony Award nomination, as well as, ELF, A FREE MAN OF COLOR, LEGALLY BLONDE, ALL SHOOK UP and DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. He also won the Emmy Award for his work on the Academy Awards.
