Thrill Me Hosts Talkback with Dolginoff, Spencer & Cohen, July 16

Off-Broadway's Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story will present a
talkback session entitled "Thinking Outside the JukeboxWriting the
Non-Formula Musical Today" with three
composer/librettist/lyricists: Thrill Me's
Stephen Dolginoff, David Spencer (Weird
Romance, The Fabulist,
etc. and author of the just-published "Musical Theatre Writer's
Survival Guide"), Doug Cohen (No Way
To Treat a Lady, The Gig,
The Opposite of Sex), and other
special guests, on Saturday, July 16th following the 5 PM performance at the
York Theatre Company.Thrill Me, which recently extended its run for a third time, is playing at the York Theatre (at Saint Peter's Citigroup Center, 619 Lexington
Avenue at 54th Street) with no closing date set. Directed by Michael Rupert (Sweet Charity, Falsettos) and based
on the infamous 1924 Leopold and Loeb murder case, the show originally opened on May 26th for a limited run. Lyricist/composer Dolginoff, who began
his career as a musical theater actor, has taken over the role of Nathan
Leopold for the extension period, while Doug Kreeger portrays his partner in
crime, Richard Loeb.Set in 1924 Chicago, the show recounts
the tale of the legendary duo who committed one of the most infamous
heinous crimes of the 20th Century. It chronicles
the events that led childhood friends Leopold and Loeb
to forever be remembered as "the thrill killers."

Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story will run on the following schedule from July 18th: Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings at 8:00 pm, with Saturday evening performances at 5:00 PM
