The Theater People Podcast Welcomes HAMILTON's Renee Elise Goldsberry

On Monday, January 4, the Theater People podcast welcomes HAMILTON star Renee Elise Goldsberry. In the episode, Goldsberry talks about why she turned down her audition for the show several times, learning her showstopping number "Satisfied," and how it feels to be a part of the phenomenon that is HAMILTON.

Also, as a mother of two young children, she discusses how she manages to balance the responsibilities of both her career and family life.

Goldsberry has previously appeared on Broadway as Mimi in the closing company of RENT and as Nala in THE LION KING. She originated the role of Nettie in the original Broadway cast of THE COLOR PURPLE as well as the role of Kate in GOOD PEOPLE.

On screen, Goldsberry played Evangeline Williamson for years on ABC soap opera ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
