Created by Michael Weingartner and Paul Rodrigues, News Stand features some of New York city's best comics taking on the biggest stories in the news.

From politics to pop culture to sports, if it's in the news, it's in the show. No public figure, no star and no trend will be safe from ridicule in this uncensored show. With more than 20 years of experience working in cable news between them, Weingartner and Rodrigues felt it was time for a stand-up comedy show that was just about current events. That time is November 18 at 7pm.

The show will take place at the Tank's performance space, 354 West 45th Street in Manhattan. Presale tickets are available here for $10.

Founded in 2003, The Tank is a non-profit arts presenter whose mission is to provide a welcoming, creative, collaborative, and affordable environment for artists and activists engaged in the pursuit of new ideas. Through a wide range of low-cost, high-concept arts and public affairs programming, The Tank seeks to cultivate a new generation of audience for live performance, civic discourse, and the work of emerging artists.
