The Survivalists Announce the Premiere of 3x3, or 9 after 9 This June

This June at the Access Theater (380 Broadway), new theater company The Survivalists will officially launch as they present the premiere of the new play 3x3, or 9 after 9. Written by Michael Christopher, Shane Breaux and Kevin Brewer, the poignant and off-beat comedy will feature a cast of 9 actors playing 22 eccentric characters all in the same NYC apartment building. Steve Spera will serve as director.

It's 9 after 9...do you know what your neighbors are doing? With a range of unique tenants and thin walls, 3×3, or 9 after 9 is a picture of the same nine minutes of time in nine different NYC apartments all in the same building. Each apartment and scene offers its own glimpse into the emotional roller coaster that is New York life, examining the many stages of love, death, sex, and more!

The cast of 3×3, or 9 after 9 will feature James Addison, Betsy Bell, Kay Capasso, Emily Code, Claire Epstein, Matt Gottlieb, Sarah Miller, Matthew McDonald, and Mike Shimkin.Lighting Design will be by Ryan Loya (who also works at MTV), and Scenic Design will be byEmily Code and Steve Spera.

3×3, or 9 after 9 will run from 6/7-6/16 at the Access Theater (380 Broadway at White Street) with performances Wed.-Sat. at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets, priced at $20 can be purchased online at www.TheSurvivalists.org or by phone at 800-838-3006.
