NYMF Announces 2010 Award Winners!
The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) will honor producers Barry and Fran Weissler (Chicago, Wonderful Town, La Cage Aux Folles, Scottsboro Boys) and the winners of the NYMF 2010 Awards for Excellence at the Seventh Season Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, November 14th at The Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th Street) beginning at 6:00pm.
The evening will include cocktails, a silent auction, seated dinner, and musical performances celebrating NYMF's Seventh Annual Season.

The Daegu International Musical Festival Production Award and The Stage Entertainment USA Development Award will be announced in the coming weeks.

Barry and Fran Weissler are the recipients of six Tony Awards®: Othello, their Broadway debut, starring James Earl Jones and Christopher Plummer, Fiddler on the Roof with Topol, Gypsy with Tyne Daly, Annie Get Your Gun with Bernadette Peters and Reba McEntire, the current hit revival of La Cage Aux Folles starring Kelsey Grammer and Douglas Hodge, and the worldwide hit, Chicago, which also won the Olivier Award for its London production. Chicago, the longest running musical revival on both Broadway and the West End, has featured countless stars including Bebe Neuwirth, Anne Reinking, Joel Grey, Melanie Griffith, Brooke Shields, David Hasselhoff, Chita Rivera, Denise Van Outen, Duncan James, Lynda Carter, AshLee Simpson, Kelly Osbourne and Usher.
