Lincoln Center Theater has extended the run of its Tony Award winning production of the new musical The Light in the Piazza through Sunday, January 1, 2006 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). The musical, which has a book by Craig Lucas, music and lyrics by Adam Guettel and direction by Bartlett Sher, is the winner of 6 2005 Tony Awards, including Best Score (Adam Guettel) and Best Actress in a Musical (Victoria Clark) as well as 5 Drama Desk Awards and 2 Outer Critics Circle Awards.
