The Jones Family Singers, consisting of five sisters, two brothers and their father, have been wrecking churches and festivals alike for over two decades. But they've never before made a studio album that displays the depth of their pure musical gifts quite like The Spirit Speaks, out now via Arts+Labor.

The album has garnered press accolades from The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, NPR, Okayplayer, Noisey, Rolling Stone and many more!

On July 30th, The Jones Family Singers will make their New York Debut at Lincoln Center. The Jones Family Singers have raised the spirit and the rafters with their fierce soul-gospel sound for more than two decades. The five sisters, two brothers (Fred Jones, Jr, leads on guitar and keyboards) assorted relatives, and their patriarch Bishop Fred Jones, pastor of Mount Zion Church of God in Christ in Markham, TX have thrilled festival audiences at SXSW and elsewhere, but their first professional recording,The Spirit Speaks, was just released this past February. Their hard-driving, funk and soul songs of praise will resonate with fans of Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, The Relatives, and The Staples Singers.

From July 20 through August 10, Lincoln Center Out of Doors will bring more than 100 free performances to the Lincoln Center campus. The 44th season of one of the country's longest-running, free summer outdoor festivals features a wide range of music and dance artists, premieres and debuts, family programs notable anniversaries, and exciting collaborations.
