The Dirty Blondes (Artistic Director, Ashley J. Jacobson and Executive Director, Elizabeth Sarkady) kick off the 2015 season continuing the company's mission of developing beautiful and subversive new works of theater by fostering a community of diverse artists dedicated to creativity and collaboration.

The Britney Project will be a two night workshop performance of a developing show by Ashley J. Jacobson (The Tunnel Play 2014 FringeReview "Outstanding Show"). Four actors and two musicians explore the grand puppetry of pop culture and the public perversion of fame, talent and girlhood. An entirely improvised, musical and multimedia performance will be sure to entertain and intrigue audience members as they look past the pop star and into the machine that controls her life.

Come and grab a drink, listen to some familiar songs in an unfamiliar way, and watch as performers work the machine that creates all of your favorite pop stars and be sure to stay after the show for a raucous dance party to your favorite hits!

The cast includes Jimmy Dailey (member of The Bats at The Flea), Brett Epstein (Naperville by Mat Smart), Laura Bogdanski (The Tunnel Play by Ashley J. Jacobson), and Brandon Ferraro (Quiet Peninsula, 2014 FringeNYC), with musicians Seon Gomez (Pictures Of The Sun), and Ramzi Awn.
