The Cell To Premiere Paige Jennifer Barr's DEATH, DATING, & I DO As Part Of Ongoing Residency Series

Nancy Manocherian's the cell (Artistic Director Kira Simring) in Chelsea, New York City has announced Paige Jennifer Barr's June Residency culminating into a three day run of her autobiographical show Death, Dating, & I Do - Paige's Adventures in Young Widowland in June. After the NY Premiere, the show will receive a run for one week only as a part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The production will be directed by cell Artistic Director Kira Simring (Crackskull Row, Hard Times: An American Musical).

Death, Dating, & I Do is a hilarious and dark journey through Paige's husband's long battle with cancer, her re-entry into dating as a young widow, and finding the love of her life by accident. She's the force that got J.J. Abrams to show her husband the new Star Trek movie 6 months early (3 days before he died) and the same delicate soul who had to Google the meaning of "dick slapping". This quirky solo show is about grief, dating in the internet age, and navigating a new world overwhelmed and way in over your head. Paige Jennifer Barr is an accomplished actor, sketch performer, writer and casting director living in Manhattan. She has performed at The Upright Citizen's Brigade theatre, The PIT, The Laugh Factory, The Broadway Comedy Club, and on countless other iconic New York stages.
