The Back Alley Players W/ Ebony JoAnn Celebrate CD Release at The Triad

New York, home to some of the greatest talents the world has ever known delivers another talented group of musicians. The Back Alley Players, a band whose individual backgrounds fall into many music genres, combined is an awesome Blues band.

The Back Alley Players Blues and Soul Band whose musicianship and musical influences are a mix of Blues, Funk, and Jazz is building a respectable name in the NY Tri-State area and is gaining credit as one of most talented blues bands of our time. The highly anticipated release by the Back Alley Players Blues and Soul Band entitled, "BEYOND THE BLUES" promises to be one of the best Blues release of the year.

Ebony Jo-Ann most recently completed filming an Adam Sandler movie entitled Grown Ups, in the role of Ms. Ronzoni, to be released in June 2010. She also appears in When In Rome, also to be released in January 2010.

Ebony's most recent released film is Noise with Tim Robbins. Also the NBC pilot, NY-70 and the WB pilot entitled The Prince. Also, The Jury , as well as, Law & Order SVU, Law & Order, 100 Centre Street, the PBS American Authors Series and the Campbell's Chunky Soup campaign . Other films include Kate & Leopold ,Marci X, The Orphan King, Pootie Tang , Eddie , The Other Brother, Fly By Night, Chain of Desires and Frederick Douglass: An American Life.

Ebony is the proud recipient of six Vivian Robinson AUDELCO awards.
