Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) limited engagement of The Apple Tree will play its final performance on Sunday, March 11th at 2:00 PM.   The Broadway revival of The Apple Tree, stars Tony® Award winner Kristin Chenoweth (Eve, Princess Barbara, Passionella), Brian d'Arcy James (Adam, Sanjar, Flip) and Marc Kudisch (Snake, Balladeer, Narrator) with Walter Charles (King Arik, Employer, Producer). The Apple Tree, with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, book by Bock and Harnick with additional book material by Jerome Coopersmith and directed by Gary Griffin plays at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th St.).

The production will have played 18 preview performances and 99 regular performances. Previews began on Wednesday, November 29th and opened officially on Thursday, December 14th, 2006. 

From the songwriting team of She Loves Me and Fiddler on the Roof comes a unique evening of three one-act musicals about men, women and a little thing called temptation.  The Apple Tree is based on "The Diary of Adam and Eve" by Mark Twain; "The Lady or the Tiger?" by Frank R. Stockton; and "Passionella" by Jules Feiffer.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

The Apple Tree will play Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00PM with a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2:00PM.
