Rising Phoenix Theatre Company Presents William Shakespeare's TITUS ANDRONICUS
Directed by Seth Duerr

A Little Something Extra in the Turkey this Thanksgiving…

Dancing on the tightrope of comedy and high tragedy, join us for the tale of what one group has to do to become a family…Titus Andronicus has served Rome for forty years in battle. Returning home after a ten-year battle with the Goths, he is recognized as a war-hero and buries his dead soldiers, hoping to retire in peace and live to a ripe, old age…fate has a different plan for him…a horrible series of events is set into motion and the cycle of revenge is started…justice becomes a fading memory and he must spend his last days avenging the horrors his family has gone through upon returning to his ungrateful country…A departure from the stylized world of Julie Taymor film, and Deborah Warners groundbreaking theatrical production, Mr. Duerr makes the audience complicit in the action…you will be right there at every moment, involved, with atrocities only inches away…join us for a story of waking up to the world, before the world decides to wake you up all on its own…
