The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) and Theater of the Apes invite you to a very special holiday party, to herald their 10th anniversary co-production of The Truth About Santa, an apocalyptic holiday comedy by Greg Kotis (Winner of 2002 Tony Award, 2001 Drama Desk Award, and 2001 Obie Award for Urinetown). Join us for this FREE celebration at The Drama Bookshop (250 West 49th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue) on Wednesday, November 28 from 5pm-7pm to indulge in some complimentary holiday cheer, witness a live taping of the Tanked podcast, and pick up some autographed scripts of The Truth About Santa, Urinetown (The Musical), Pig Farm, and Eat the Taste for your favorite theater lovers' stockings. Admission is FREE and open to the public.

This special holiday event will also include photo ops on Santa's knee, an adult coloring contest, singing elves, a good old-fashioned cookie swap, and a chance to win a pair of tickets to The Truth About Santa in December. (A holiday show for people sick of holiday shows - The New York Times). This may also be your last chance to hobnob with the Off-Off-Broadway glitterati and give a final toast to The Drama Bookshop, before their beloved 40th street location closes for good. (Thanks for the rent hikes, Scrooge!)

The Truth About Santa will run December 5-20 at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues). For more information and to purchase tickets please visit www.thetanknyc.org.

Is The Truth About Santa appropriate for young children? NO! But all are welcome at this festive event, even, nay especially, you Grinches.
