THE GIRL IN THE RED DRESS Reading this May at the National Arts Club

On May 14th at the National Arts Club (8p-10p), members and guests will "get into something red" when the new, original musical - "THE GIRL IN THE RED DRESS" - has its next reading.

The musical, with music and lyrics by Maia Sharp, Buddy Mondlock, and Art Garfunkel, and a book by Frederick Stroppel, has had prior readings in Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando, and South Florida, and will now show the New York theatre world how exciting and innovative this project is.

Ms. Sharp will be on hand to sing and play, along with Richard Barone (MD on "Bright Lights, Big City") singing male parts, A-List guitarist Peter Calo (Linda Eder, Carly Simon, and many more), and current Broadway star Kennedy Caughell ("Beautiful: the Carole King Musical", "Pierre, Natasha, and the Great Comet of 1812", and National Tours of "Wicked" and "American Idiot"), who will both sing and read the role of the musical's lead character, Jane Hughes.

NAC members are asked to contact the National Arts Club directly to reserve a place on the event's guest list. Others who are interested in seeing this reading are asked to send an RSVP reply to: saugatuckproductions@outlook.com, with the heading, "5/14 RSVP."
