Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As With Your Favorite Broadway Stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Catherine Charlebois, who is starring as 'Nessarose' in Wicked- currently playing at the GershwinTheatre.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw??

As unbelievable as it sounds, WICKED was the first show that I saw on Broadway. I was a junior in High School and completely overwhelmed! It was such an "Aha!" moment for me and really pushed me to work even harder to one day be one of those people up on stage. There are still nights at work when I remember that and cannot believe that I am rolling around a Broadway stage!

?What is your most unique pre-show ritual???

I always do a vocal warmup before I leave the house (probably causing much annoyance to my patient, sweet husband and neighbors!) and once I am at work, it is always different! I always check in with my dresser, Terri, and walk down to the stage with my dressing room neighbors Michael Wartella and John Schiappa (Boq and Dr. Dillamond). I have lots of little fun ritual moments throughout the show like catching the eye of my friend Kristen Gorski and waving before one of my entrances and dancing with one of our crew guys, Larry, before my entrance in Act Two! Sometimes, those little backstage moments in the show are the ones I look forward to the most.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment???

In college, I was doing a production of SWEENEY TODD playing Johanna (my now-husband Brendon was playing Anthony opposite me!). Our set included a large, revolving piece that was both Sweeney's Barber Shop and Mrs. Lovett's Pie Shop. It was on wheels and moved by a few crew members, who were all freshmen in the Drama Department. We were doing our first full run through, which also was our final dress rehearsal, and had made it smoothly through intermission. In act two, there was a set change in the middle of the Fogg's Asylum/City on Fire scene where all the asylum prisoners have escaped, and Johanna and Anthony are running to the Barber Shop. Too many people on stage and a rotating set did not make an easy transition, and the huge set piece ran over my foot and broke my toe! For the rest of the run, I lost my beautiful, satin boots and had to wear padded ballet flats. Luckilly, Johanna did a whole lot of standing still and singing.

What is the one role you want to play before you die???

There are an embarrassing number of roles that I dream of playing, but if I truly had to choose just one, I think it would be 'Nellie Forbush' in SOUTH PACIFIC. The show is one of my all time favorites; the score is gorgeous, the story is so well crafted and relevant and the character is fantastic.

Who is your Broadway crush???

I am not ashamed to admit that I have a few major crushes on some women who I grew up listening to (Kelli O'Hara, Audra McDonald and Julia Murney to name a few) but my SERIOUS crush is on this guy in NEWSIES! He can sing and dance better than most folks I know, he understudies 'Jack Kelly' and knows how to make a mean pancake breakfast! His name is Brendon Stimson and he is my awesome husband.

Where can people stalk you online?

I am supremely technologically un-savvy, but I am working on it! Right now, you can stalk me on twitter @CharleboisNYC. I love to show off my sweet puppy and some of my favorite NYC places!
