TADA! Youth Ensemble has been invited to perform along side Broadway and recording star Shoshana Bean at the 2nd Annual Benefit for Broadway in South Africa. Together they will perform an original song written by Ms. Bean entitled "A Little Hope." The event will take place at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th Street) on Monday, October 5th at 7:30pm.

With a special guest performance by Deborah Cox, the evening feature performances by Broadway stars Uzo Aduba (Coram Boy), Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Sean Bradford (The Lion King), Lilli Cooper (Spring Awakening), Darius deHaas (Rent), Frankie James Grande (Mamma Mia), Adam Kantor (Rent), Chelsea Krombach (Wicked), Tracy McDowell (Rent), Selloane Nkhela (The Lion King), Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde), Chris Spaulding (Curtains), and Lisa Nicole Wilkerson (The Lion King) featuring The South African cast of The Lion King, and a special appearance by Charles O. Anderson's Dance Theater X. The evening is directed by Jen Bender (The Lion King)

The concert will feature original songs based on stories written by Broadway in South Africa students who participated in a four-day arts intensive that was held in January in Cape Town. Those commissioned to pen these songs include composers Deborah Abramson, Scott Alan, Jeff Bowen, Joe Iconis, Daniel Larsen, Selloane Nkhela, Ryan Scott Oliver and Katie Thompson.
