Tony Vellela talks theatre with Susan Stroman tonight, June 4, at 92Y.

Stroman is a five-time Tony Award winning director and choreographer, whose work has also been honored with Olivier, Drama Desk, Outer Critics, Lucille Lortel and a record five Astaire Awards.

This year marked her Metropolitan Opera debut, where she directed and choreographed The Merry Widow, starring Renée Fleming. She also recently directed and choreographed the new musical Little Dancer for the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
