Sullivan, Marcovicci, Etc. Set for Next Algonquin Season

The Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room (59 W. 44th St.) has announced its next season of cabaret performances.

Sarah Partridge will fly into the luxe venue for her show from September 5th through 9th, while Jack Jones will follow from September 12th through 23rd. Next up will be cabaret and Broadway star KT Sullivan, who will entertain audiences from September 26th through October 14th with Mercer & Ellington: American Naturals. Sheera Ben-David, who recently placed as first runner-up in the Oak Room's Young Artists Competition, will follow from October 17th through 21st.

Paul West is set to perform from October 24th through November 11th. He will be followed by Andrea Marcovicci, who frequently visits the Oak Room, from November 14th, 2006 through January 13th, 2007. Maude Maggart, a rising star on the cabaret scene, will perform her show from January 16th through February 3rd, while Sandy Stewart and Bill Charlap will take the stage from February 13th through 25th.

Tony-nominated Nine star Karen Akers is currently playing the Oak Room through May 13th; her show is a tribute to John Kander and Fred Ebb.
