Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten has announced that Festival veteran Steven Pasquale will play 'Robert Kincaid' in this summer's World Premiere of The Bridges of Madison County. As previously announced, the new musical, which runs on the Main Stage from August 1 - 18, 2013, features a book by Marsha Norman, music & lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, and direction by Bartlett Sher. Pasquale returns to WTF after appearing opposite Kelli O'Hara last summer in the World Premiere of Far From Heaven.

Gersten also announced today that Tony Award-winner John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart) will join Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson (Pieces of April), in a one-night-only staged reading of Scott and Zelda by Kay Cattarula, directed by Maria Tucci, on Monday, July 1, 2013 on the WTF's Main Stage.

New York in the Jazz Age, glamorous life on the Riviera, competing ambitions, true love - what didn't go into the Fitzgeralds' legendary marriage? Scott and Zelda allows audiences to hear the story in their own words - drawn from their novels and commentary from intimates like Ernest Hemingway and others. Their edgy union, challenged by traumatic breakdowns and critical failures, found its best expression in their final letters, which are among the most moving ever written.

Clarkson appeared opposite Bradley Cooper in last season's much buzzed-about production of The Elephant Man, and Hickey was last seen on WTF's Main Stage in 2007's The Autumn Garden.

Additional casting for The Bridges of Madison County will be announced shortly.
