Shoshana Bean, known for her roles in WICKED and HAIRSPRAY, has released a new single that she co-wrote with singer-composer-lyricist Scott Alan.  The song is titled "A Little Hope" and was originally written for the 2009 Broadway in South Africa benefit concert. "A Little Hope" was arranged and orchestrated by Jesse Vargas, and is now available for purchase on iTunes.

Proceeds from the single will benefit the non-profit organization Broadway in South Africa, which provides a cross-cultural exchange between youth in need and artists who seek to use their talents for positive, global change.

Vocals for "A Little Hope" were recorded in New York, London and Africa, and feature the Tada! Resident Youth Ensemble and Voices of Africa with background vocals by Natalie Weiss, Lillie Cooper, Erin Willis, Stuart Matthew Price, Jodie Jacobs and Bean.  The Voices of Africa vocals were arranged by Bryan Schimmel.

Musicians for the song include Hiroko Taguchi, Kiku Enomoto, Yuiko Kamakari, Antonia Nelson, Tawnya Popoff, David Fallo, David Blinn, Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf, Allison Seidner, Laura Bontrager, Steve Gilewski, Shannon Ford, Chris Delis, Christopher D. Littlefield and David Mancuso.
