Broadway Gives Back and Seaview Productions will present the Second Annual "Broadway Charity Songs!" "Broadway Charity Songs" has paired a group of award-winning musical theatre composers with a group outstanding charities and tasked them with composing an original song that the prospective charity could use for fundraising purposes. The result is a group of songs gifted to the charities - with the hope that the songs "go viral" -- increasing awareness for these outstanding organizations.

The concert will feature songs by Andrew Lippa, Adam Gwon, Daniel Maté, Douglas J. Cohen, Beth Falcone, Zoe Samak, Jonathan Reid Gealt, Joshua H. Cohen, Marisa Michelson, Anna Dagmar, Kevin Wanzor, Noel Carey, Andre Catrini, Nadav Wiesel, Sean Patterson, and Natalie Tenenbaum. The concert will honor the following charity organizations: Look Good, Feel Better; The NY Whale and Dolphin Action League; Help Us Adopt; The Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding; Girl Rising; Legacies of War; Men Can Stop Rape; Canstruction; The Pajama Program; The Fresh Air Fund; Art Start; Lighthouse International, and SAGE (Services & Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Elders).

Casting, which will feature some of Broadway's greatest talents, will be announced at a later date. Doors will open at 6:00 with the concert beginning at 7:00. Tickets are available on the Le Poisson Rouge website at http://www.lepoissonrouge.com/lpr_events/2nd-annual-broadway-charity-songs-february-24th-2014/. Tickets range from $20-$250.
