On Monday, August 29th 2016, Scandinavian American Theater Company (SATC) will present a New York tribute to Ingmar Bergman with a staged reading of "Scenes from a Marriage" in a 2014-adaptation by American playwright, director and Obie Award winner Emily Mann.

SATC's staged reading is a collaboration with Scandinavia House and the Consulate General of Sweden in New York and a New York contribution to The Ingmar Bergman International Theatre Festival 2016 presented by the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, Sweden. Emily Mann's theatrical adaptation of "Scenes from a Marriage" was The New York Times' Critic Pick when presented for the first time in 2014 by The New York Theatre Workshop.

Directed by Henning Hegland (Norway), SATC's version has diverse cast of performers with Annemette Andersen* (Denmark) and Arash Mokhtar* (Iran/USA) playing the lead roles. Albert Bendix (Denmark), Kendra Lou (Denmark), Kathryn Kates* (USA), Lagina Hill (USA) and Didrik Soderstrom (Sweden) complete the international cast.
