Sanguine Theatre Company Announces Five-day Playwrights' Week At IRT Theater

Sanguine Theatre Company has invited five playwrights to participate in its first annual Sanguine Spring Break: Playwrights' Week. Each playwright is granted space and collaborators for a one-day workshop of a piece of their choosing, with each night culminating in a public presentation at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, between Greenwich and Washington, 10014).

The week's presentations are set for: Tuesday-Saturday March 27-31 at 7:30 pm each evening. Featured playwrights (in order) are: Josh Bonzie, Lindsay Joy, Darrel Holnes, Alexis Scheer, and Calamity West.

Sanguine Spring Break: Playwrights' Week furthers the company's mission to champion new and underrepresented voices. This initiative invites audiences to unplug from their at-home streaming, and instead binge-watch new plays in progress, each from a unique and inspired playwright. No two evenings will feel the same.
