SUPERIOR DONUTS' Michael McKean Honored with 2 Grammy Nods

Spinal Tap, the heavy metal rock band led by SUPERIOR DONUTS' Michael McKean, has received two 2010 Grammy Award nominations, in The categories of "Best Comedy Album" and "Best Recording Package."

Superior Donuts will conclude its Broadway engagement on January 3, 2010. Tickets are currently on sale through or by calling 212-239-6200.

Superior Donuts performs at The Music Box Theatre, 239 West 45th Street. The week of Thanksgiving, Superior Donuts has additional playing times: Friday, November 27th at 2 pm. The regular playing schedule is: Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday thru Saturday at 8pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 2 pm, and Sunday at 3pm. Check for the Christmas week and New Year's holiday schedule.

SUPERIOR DONUTS, by Tracey Letts, directed by Tina Landau, continues to star Jane Alderman, Kate Buddeke, Cliff Chamberlain, Michael Garvey, Jon Michael Hill, Michael McKean, Robert Mafia, James Vincent Meredith, and Yasen Peyankov.

The design team includes: Scenic Design by James Schuette, costume design by Ana Kuzmanic, Lighting Design by Christopher Akerlind, and sound design by Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen.

The Steppenwolf production of Superior Donuts will be produced on Broadway by Jeffrey Richards, Jean Doumanian, Jerry Frankel, Awaken Entertainment, Debra Black, Chase Mishkin, Karmichelle Productions/Robert G.
