STRÜB Residential Announces Ninth Annual Flashback Benefit

STRÜB Residential is thrilled to present the 9th Annual FLASHBACK, a retro dance party benefiting Explore Austin tomorrow, Friday, March 2, at The Parish, located at 214 E 6th St., Austin, TX 78701. FLASHBACK is an over-the-top dance party celebrating the music, fashion and fads inspired by the 80s and 90s, all the while creating a unique opportunity to reach Austin's young - and young at heart - professionals, educating the next generation of philanthropists in ways of giving back to the Austin community. FLASHBACK benefits Explore Austin, an amazing organization that equips underserved youth to make positive life choices through mentoring and outdoor adventure in a six-year program for 6th through 12th grade. This year's FLASHBACK will be hosted by Jason & Deb of 101X Morning Show and will feature a crazy costume contest, pog making stations, silent and live auction and more. FLASHBACK Founding Chair and STRÜB Residential Founder Mark Strübstarted this charity event in an effort to engage Austin's next generation of philanthropists. About Christy Strüb:

After completing a bachelor's degree in Communications from Colorado State University, Christy moved to Austin in search of the "right" job. She wasn't interested in typical employment-she sought unique opportunities, eventually touring with the country music band Sugarland as a Fan Relations Coordinator. When Christy met and married Mark, she found that she shared his vision for helping others find their own unique piece of Austin. In 2012, she obtained her Real Estate license and joined him in making that dream a reality, spending over two joyful and successful years selling real estate in the Capital City. In the summer of 2014, though, things changed. Their son, Maxim James, was born, and it became clear that her role would shift. Between the immediacy of the market and the growth of the STRÜB team of überAGENTS, a more internally focused role became her new passion. Instead of primarily concentrating on clients, she was über-focused on the STRÜB Residential team. These days she finds no shortage of unique opportunities, moving quickly from management to accounting, marketing to business development, recruiting to event planning.
