Over the weekend the Broadway company of Kinky Boots bid farewell to original cast member, and long-time Charlie Price, Andy Kelso with a special video. Check it out below!

After beginning with the production in the original reading, Kelso went on to originate the role of Harry in the 2013 Tony-winning Best Musical, before taking over for original lead Starks Sands as Charlie.

The show's current cast, and nearly every member of the original company, united to wish Kelso the best in a video tribute that features personal photos, special wishes, and an a capella performance of the Beatles' "Hey Jude," in honor of Kelso's young son, Jude.

Cast member Ellyn Marie Marsh directed and edited the video, and Jake Odmark, who took over the role of Harry from Kelso, provided the musical arrangement of "Hey Jude." Special appearances in the video include director Jerry Mitchell, book writer Harvey Fierstein, and Kelso's former co-stars Annaleigh Ashford, Wayne Brady, and more.

Kelso also played the role of Sky in the Broadway production of MAMMA MIA! for nearly three years, and played Fiyero on WICKED's National Tour as well.
