STAGE TUBE: HONEYMOON IN VEGAS Gets Support from SNL's Bobby Moynihan
Honeymoon in Vegas, the eagerly anticipated new musical with book by Blazing Saddles and Fletchwriter Andrew Bergman and score by Jason Robert Brown will begin previews tomorrow, November 18, 2014 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). The production is directed by Gary Griffin, and choreographed by Denis Jones.
The new musical just got some major support from SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE funny man Bobby Moynihan, who was sporting a show t-shirt at the end of this week's episode. Check it out below!
Honeymoon in Vegas tells the story of Jack Singer (Rob McClure), a regular guy with an extreme fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy (Brynn O'Malley) to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman (Tony Danza), looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy. What happens next is anybody's bet!
Based on the 1992 Castle Rock Entertainment Motion Picture that featured James Caan, Nicholas Cage and Sarah Jessica-Parker, Honeymoon in Vegas played an acclaimed try-out at the Paper Mill Playhouse late last year.
