Best known to theatre audiences for her role as "Wendla" in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of "Spring Awakening," Michele was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for her performance.
For her work on GLEE, Michele was honored this year with a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Actress - Comedy or Musical and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Michele was also recently nominated for a 2010 Teen Choice Award for ChoIce TV Actress: Comedy. In 2009, she was nominated in the ChoIce TV: Breakout Star Female category.
