SNL Cast Members Stand Up For ACLU At Town Hall

Several Saturday Night Live cast members and writers are teaming up for a night of comedy and music to benefit the ACLU at The Town Hall on Monday December 18 at 8pm. 100% of the ticket sales of the "Comedy Fundraiser for the ACLU" will be donated to the ACLU.

Hosted by John Early (The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Search Party) the evening features SNL cast members Cecily Strong, Kyle Mooney and the 2017 Emmy nominee Vanessa Bayer; the SNL writers Julio Torres and Jeremy Beiler, and writer and actor Jon Glaser of Delocated, and Jon Glaser Loves Gear). The evening's musical special guest is Chicago alternative country-rocker Robbie Fulks, a 2017 Grammy nominee.

The special one-night-only "Comedy Fundraiser for the ACLU" offers a rare opportunity to see these notable comic actors in a live, in-person stage show, as they tell personal stories and not-for-TV jokes. Alongside exciting newcomers like Torres -- a writer and comedian who is considered by many to be one of the freshest new voices in stand-up -- most of these writers and performers are best known for their improv, sketch and comedy work on television.

The evening is produced by Beiler and The Barrow Street Theatre to support the crucial work of the ACLU to fight against multiple Trump-era civil-rights threats and catastrophes, from Net Neutrality to DACA.

The special one-night-only "Comedy Fundraiser for the ACLU" takes place on Monday December 18 at 8pm, at The Town Hall, 123 West 43rd Street. Tickets range from $35 to $60. To order in advance call 800/982-2787, or visit www.ticketmaster.com or The Town Hall box office.
