Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) limited engagement of The Understudy will play its final performance on Sunday, January 17th at 2:00 PM. Theresa Rebeck's The Understudy is directed by Scott Ellis featuring Mark-Paul Gosselaar as "Jake", Justin Kirk as "Harry" and Julie White as "Roxanne".

On January 17th, The Understudy will have played 32 preview performances and 85 regular performances. The Understudy opened officially on November 5th, 2009, Off-Broadway at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This limited engagement was extended two-weeks due to popular demand.

The most thankless job in theatre takes center stage in Theresa Rebeck's new look at the underbelly of the acting world. Through the course of a dress rehearsal, we glimpse all the genius, bitterness and ridiculousness that underscore a life in showbiz.

Tickets are available by calling Roundabout Ticket Services at (212)719-1300, online at www.roundabouttheatre.org or at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre box office (111 West 46 Street). Ticket prices range from $70.00-$80.00.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:
The Understudy plays Tuesday through Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.
