On Monday, May 11, Roundabout Theatre Company will host their first annual Casino Night, at the American Airlines Theatre (227 W. 42nd St). All proceeds will benefit Roundabout Theatre Company's Education programs and the Musical Theatre Fund.

The casino event will include a Texas Hold 'Em poker tournament featuring celebrity players and Roundabout alum such as Jennifer Tilly (Don't Dress for Dinner, The Women), Richard Kind ("Spin City," The Big Knife), Santino Fontana (Frozen, Sons of the Prophet), Gina Gershon (Bye Bye Birdie), Bobby Cannavale ("Boardwalk Empire," The Big Knife), Sebastian Arcelus ("House of Cards"), Andy Karl (On the Twentieth Century, Rocky), Bill Heck (Cabaret), Colin Donnell (Violet, Anything Goes), Orfeh (Legally Blonde) and many more.

There will also be open casino games, such as blackjack, roulette, craps and slot machines, hosted by Roundabout favorites Danny Burstein (Cabaret), Stephanie J. Block (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Anything Goes) and Becky Ann Baker (Assassins, "Freaks and Geeks").

The evening will include an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. Guests will play for prizes in lieu of cash. All levels of experience are welcome to play; professional poker players and amateurs alike.

The evening is co-hosted by Roundabout Leadership Council Chairman Carmen Grossman and John Grossman. All celebrity appearances are subject to change.

Education at Roundabout connects with students and teachers through customized school partnerships, residency programs, mentorships and workshops in the practice of professional theatrical skills, professional development workshops, internships, apprenticeships, backstage tours, talkbacks and pre-show workshops. For each Roundabout production, Education also creates Upstage guides, which include interviews, contextual information, teacher resources and activities, and presents a schedule of Theatre Plus events, including pre-show talks every Tuesday and post-show Lecture Series and Celebrity Series events featuring a distinguished artist, scholar, historian or critic. roundabouttheatre.org/education

The Musical Theatre Fund helps Roundabout further its mission to bring the important American art form of music theatre to the stage in bold and unique productions.

Individual ticket prices range from $100 to $750. Admission into the poker tournament begins at the $500 level. VIP Table packages for $5,000 and $10,000 are available, which includes a half or full table and the company of a guest artist.
