On November 9th 2017 at 7pm at the Pit Loft (154 west 29th street) comedian Rory Scholl debuts a reading of his original short musical, ( 55 minute run time) The Thanksgiving Scarecrow with a cast of amazing comics and music by Rory and Dan Reitz (Baby Wants Candy). A comedic musical following the origin of the newest holiday mascot, as he enjoys obscure museums, a deviant barbershop quartet, and an appearance from Santa!

The Thanksgiving Scarecrows cast are all accomplished stage actors and comics including writer Rory Scholl ( Abingdon Theater, NY Fringe) Jeff Scherer ( X Plus One) Rachel Scherer ( The Peoples Improv Theater) Kathleen Armenti ( Happy Karaoke Fun Time) Geoff Grimwood ( Fake Church) and Rachel Macrae Bouton (Vern).

The Pit Loft is an extension of the Peoples Improv Theater, home of original sketch, improv podcasts and more.
