Today, Out begins its rollout of the OUT100, starting with "Stylemaker of the Year," model Andrej Pejic, in a sneak-peak of the magazine's eagerly anticipated annual OUT100, a roll call of 100 men and women who have made 2011 a year to remember. In its 17th annual OUT100 issue, Out magazine commemorates the year's most influential and inspirational gays, lesbians, and transgendered people who continue to lead the community to moments worth celebrating, which includes a handful of Broadway veterans.

With stunning photography by Gavin Bond, who shot this year's portfolio, the OUT100 celebrates model Andrej Pejic, who walks in both men's and women's shows (notably closing Jean Paul Gaultier's Spring 2011 couture show in a fur-trimmed dress). "The truth is I have to work twice as hard to be taken seriously," says Pejic, who also graces one of this year's four covers. The additional cover honorees will be announced on Thursday, November 17th, when the complete OUT100 list is revealed.

Pejic is among ten portraits from this year's OUT100 that will be getting an early preview, starting today on OUT.com (www.out.com/OUT100). Other honorees announced today include:

Dustin Lance Black: The Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Milk has been a prominent campaigner for marriage equality. His latest movie, J Edgar, directed by Clint Eastwood, and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is released November 9.

Rory O'Malley: Tony nominee for his role as Elder McKinley in Broadway's The Book of Mormon, as well as co-founder of Broadway gay activism group, Broadway Impact.

Colman Domingo: The Tony Award nominee for Broadway smash, The Scottsboro Boys, is hard at work on two major movies for 2012: Red Hook Summer, directed by Spike Lee, and Lincoln, directed by Stephen Spielberg.

Matt Doyle: Doyle plays Billy Naracott in the garlanded production of War Horse at the Lincoln Center, and also stars in the movie, Private Romeo, a gay version of Romeo & Juliet.

Gareth Thomas: The garlanded Welsh rugby player who came out in December 2009 and is the subject of a biopic that has caught the attention of Mickey Rourke.

J. Paul Oetken: Oetken made headlines in August when he was appointed to the federal bench, the first out gay man to achieve the distinction.

Geri Jewell - Best known for her role on the TV series The Facts of Life, Jewell published her autobiography, I'm Walking as Straight as I Can, earlier this year.

The OUT100 Presented by Buick culminates with an exclusive, star-studded celebration in New York City on November 17, 2011. The VIP event will be held at Skylight SoHo.
