Robert Cuccioli and Laila Robins to Announce Outer Critics Circle Award Nominees, 4/22

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, reports that multi award-winning stars Robert Cuccioli and Laila Robins will announce the nominees for the 2012-13 season on Monday, April 22nd (11AM) at The Friars Club (57 East 55th Street- between Park and Madison Avenues). Outer Critics Circle will post award nominations in 23 categories and are the first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season.

Mr. Cuccioli, who gained international fame for creating the dual role of "Jekyll & Hyde" in the namesake Broadway musical and currently playing dual roles on Broadway as Norman Osborn and The Green Goblin in "Spider-Man: Turn of the Dark," will be joined by Ms.Robins who won critical acclaim last season in the title role in Edward Albee's "The Lady from Dubuque," and this season as a family member in the Richard Nelson Trilogy "Sorry" at The Public Theater.

Celebrating its 63rd season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater, the Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.

The winners of the following categories will be announced on Monday, May 13th and the annual awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 23rd (4PM) at the legendary Sardi's Restaurant.
