ABOUT LETTERS TO A YOUNG ACTOR:

What do Meryl Streep, Marisa Tomei, and Sigourney Weaver have in common?

Well, besides wealth, fame, and beauty, of course -- they have all learned their acting craft from the formidable Robert Brustein. He has taught countless current stage and screen superstars. Mr. Brustein has supervised well over 200 theatrical productions. He has acted in 8, directed 12, written or adapted 14, and written about thousands in his 13 books. His writings have been used as texts for theater classes the world over, and now with LETTERS TO A YOUNG ACTOR, Brustein joins the 'Art of Mentoring' series from Basic Books.
