Riedel Among Journalists Set for Tony Awards Panel, May 20

On Sunday, May 20th, Makor will offer a panel discussion featuring an opinionated group of theater writers discussing the upcoming Tony Awards.  The event, lasting from 4 to 5:30 PM, will take place at the Synagogue for the Arts, located at 49 White Street between Broadway and Church. This downtown event is presented in anticipation of Makor's move this fall to 200 Hudson Street in Tribeca.

According to press materials, "The city's top theater critics and entertainment reporters dish on the upcoming Tony Awards. Who deserves to win, who doesn't—and why! Questions and comments are welcome throughout. Panelists are Susan Haskins of 'Theater Talk' on PBS; awards expert Tom O'Neil of the Los Angeles Times' 'The Envelope' and InTouch Weekly; Patrick Pacheco of New York One's 'On Stage;' David Sheward, the editor-in-chief of Backstage and a New York One theater correspondent; Entertainment Weekly'sMelissa Bernardo; and Michael Riedel of the New York Post and 'Theater Talk.' The talk will be moderated by screenwriter Michael Zam.
