Richard Skipper Comes to The American Popular Song Society This Today

American Popular Song Society will salute Cole Porter this Saturday, June 9 at 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. at Local 802 - Musicians' Hall, 322 West 48th Street, NYC, with a rousing group of performers led by the master Master of ceremonies, Richard Skipper.

Richard Skipper Celebrates Cabaret & Cole Porter will be an afternoon devoted to the influence that brilliant song writer, Cole Porter, has had on the cabaret community.

Skipper presents guest artists, Sally Darling, Jeff Harnar, Todd Murray, Karen Oberlin, Leslie Orofino, and Steve Ross singing immortal and well-recognized favorites. At this event, Richard Skipper introduces Hanna Peterson.

The event is musical directed by celebrated jazz and musical theater pianist, Daryl Kojak.

Cole Porter would have been 127 years old on this day. Imagine what he might say - or sing - in honor of the occasion!
