The Renaldo The Ensemble and friends present an evening of indie rock and variety, inspired by the Great American Songbook at The Living Room in New York City on April 14th at 10pm. The evening features international juggling sensation Tony Duncan, the music curios of Fein and Dandee and of course the antics and absurdity of existential pop quintette, The Renaldo The Ensemble.

The Renaldo The Ensemble is described as "one of NYC's secret treasures. Renowned for their acclaimed live performances that display a unique style of alternative rock and absurdly comic skills, The Renaldo The Ensemble are an original and groundbreaking experience. You will laugh your pants off, hear some standards, maybe some tango and opera played by a priest, a maid, some scientists and a front man who calls himself Renaldo The, who happens to be one of the best guitarists in NYC." http://www.therenaldotheensemble.com

The Living Room is located at 154 Ludlow Street in NYC. Showtime is at 10pm. Admission is $10.00.

Fronted by composer/guitarist Aldo Perez, The Renaldo The Ensemble is NYC's answer to Monty Python meets Talking Heads. Notably the band has performed live with the cast of SNL and has won several awards for their Theater Productions and sound designs. Most recently Perez received the New York Innovative Theatre Award Award for Outstanding Sound Design 2011 for their Pulp Noir Musical RADIO PURGATORY. The ensemble was also nomintaed in seven catagories. TRTE is currently working on a full CD release due for Sept. 2012 and filming 2 music videos for summer release.

TheaterThe was Co-Founded by Jenny Lee Mitchell (the Maid) and Perez who joined forces in 2007 after creating their first stage musical and critically acclaimed "The Curse of The Mystic Renaldo The". Mitchell, a Classically trained singer and clown was a perfect match to Perez a Classical Guitarist  and professional fool. The Ensemble is rounded out with excellent musicians and always places its music above it's antics while pushing the boundaries of propriety.Perez states "we just play what we wish other people would play" "and yes, I do perform dirty things to a rubber chicken and generally berate the audience which they seem to enjoy"
