Reckless and Five by Tenn play final performances on Sunday, December 19

RECKLESS, the Broadway premiere of a play by Craig Lucas, co-produced by Manhattan Theatre Club and Second Stage, ends its limited engagement on Sunday, December 19th with the 2:00 PM matinee. The production, directed by Mark Brokaw, is playing at the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street). RECKLESS will have played 24 previews and 77 performances.

The cast features Carson Elrod, Olga Merediz, Debra Monk, Michael O'Keefe, Mary-Louise Parker, Rosie Perez and Thomas Sadoski.

It's Christmas Eve, Rachel's (Mary-Louise Parker) son has "fired" her, her husband's put out a contract on her life, and so she's out the window - literally. This bittersweet comedy follows Rachel through a bizarre, fantastic, and sometimes nightmarish journey as she travels across the country, finding "home" with a succession of intimate strangers.

MTC's production of FIVE BY TENN, an evening of newly discovered one-acts by Tennessee Williams, also ends its limited engagement on Sunday, December 19. The production, directed by Michael Kahn, is playing at NY City Center, Stage II (131 West 55th Street). FIVE BY TENN will have played 26 previews and 46 performances.

FIVE BY TENN features the world premieres of The Fat Man's Wife and Adam and Eve on a Ferry, the New York premieres of And Tell Sad Stories of the Deaths of Queens and Summer at the Lake, as well as I Can't Imagine Tomorrow, which has been previously produced in New York.

The ensemble cast includes Kathleen Chalfant, Cameron Folmar, Penny Fuller, Hunter Gilmore, Jeremy Lawrence, David Rasche, Robert Sella and Myk Watford.

FIVE BY TENN plays tonight at 7:30 PM, Saturday at 2:30 and 7:30 PM and Sunday at 2:30 and 7:30 PM. Tickets are $48 and can be reserved by calling CityTix at (212) 581-1212.
