Playhouse on Park's Next Comedy Night Set for Tonight

Need a laugh in the midst of all the spooky this Halloween? Come on down to Playhouse on Park for Comedy Night, tonight, October 31! Both performances guarantee a night full of uproarious entertainment! Comedy night is hosted by Jess Miller, with opening act from Nicky Sunshine, finishing with headliner Phil Selman.

PHIL SELMAN (headliner) is the comedian that comedians come to see on their night off! Phil has played the national and international comedy club circuit. He's been seen in four major motion pictures, including the soon-to-be released horror-comedy film Blood Night and appeared on over twenty television shows, including the Showtime original series Californication. Phil has also made guest appearances on Comedy Central and MTV and been heard on over one-hundred radio shows across the country. He has worked with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Ray Romano, Dave Chapelle and Jerry Seinfeld.

NICKY SUNSHINE™ (middle act) is a force to be reckoned with in the world of comedy! She has starred in and produced several comedy shows in major NYC venues like Times Square Arts Center, Broadway Comedy Club, and Stand-Up NY & NEW YORK Comedy Club. Nicky Sunshine™ began her formal theater training at Northwestern University. While in Evanston she wrote and produced her own skits for African American Theater Ensemble.

Besides performing at the prestigious Caroline's on Broadway in NYC, JESS MILLER (emcee) produces her own comedy shows in Massachusetts. This funny lady has also performed in a number of plays and musicals including The Vagina Monologues, RENT, Little Shop of Horrors and more.

Scared you'll miss the 7pm showtime? We've added a second performance at 10pm due to popular demand! So after a night of going door to door with your little ones, treat yourself to a late night comedy show. And as is with all Playhouse on Park comedy nights, this event is BYOB.
