Plan-B Receives Grant from National Endowment for the Arts
Plan-B Theatre Company is thrilled to announce it has been awarded a second "Access to Artistic Excellence" grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The $10,000 grant is in support of the world premiere production of Eric Samuelsen's BORDERLANDS (March 31-April 10, 2011), which explores the process of coming out - just not in the usual sense - within Mormon culture. What does one do with questions within a faith that doesn't allow for them? A journey into unexpected honesty. Featuring Kirt Bateman, Teri Cowan, Stephanie Howell and Topher Rasmussen. Directed by Jerry Rapier. More information at http://planbtheatre.org
Plan-B has previously produced Eric Samuelsen's plays MIASMA and AMERIGO.
The first "Access to Artistic Excellence" grant Plan-B received was for BLOCK 8 by Matthew Ivan Bennett.
