Photo Flash: The Rockettes Prance in CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST Outside Radio City

Earlier today, Tuesday, August 23, the annual Christmas in August event at Radio City Music Hall kicked off the 2016 season of the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes. Scroll down for photos!
WPLJ's John Foxx hosted the event, which featured a Radio City Rockettes performance of the fan-favorite "Sleigh Ride" on 6th Avenue and a "Jingle Bells" sing-a-long led by Santa Claus.
The Rockettes then showcased their renowned precision technique with a presentation of the iconic number "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" atop the Radio City marquee, which was accompanied by the reveal of a special banner on the façade of the Music Hall.
The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes will run from November 11, 2016 through January 2, 2017. Tickets are on sale now at the Radio City box office and www.rockettes.com/christmas.

The Rockettes officially kick off the 2016 Radio City Christmas Spectacular season with the annual CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST event. A Rockette performance is showcased on 6th Ave in front of Radio City with the dancers as Reindeer, while Santa and the Wooden Soldiers are featured on top of the marquee.
