On Monday, July 7, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was delighted to present "A Sophisticated Reunion," starring Terri Klausner, Valarie Pettiford and Ty Stephens. Scroll down for photos from the concert!
"A Sophisticated Reunion" was just that: A start-of-the-art get-together hosted by talented friends who have known and loved each other for over thirty years!
Terri, Valarie and Ty met in 1981 during their time co-starring in the Broadway production of Sophisticated Ladies, and they''ve been singing and swinging ever since. The welcome addition of singer Adrian Bailey on some Duke Ellington masterpieces certainly helped to bring the cast full-circle.
Under the musical direction of Ron Abel, this chic combination of standards, tight harmonies and pure showbiz was a sleek and truly sophisticated production.
