The Daily Mail just Tweeted a sneak peek at Katie Brayben as 'Carole King' in BEAUTIFUL, coming to the West End from February 10 and running through June 2015. Check out the photo below!

In Baz Bamigboye's column today, he writes that Carole King saw an audition video of Brayben and cried, "It's me -- it's the essence of me!" Producer Mike Bosner told the Mail, "Carole knows what she wants, and she flipped when she saw Katie's tape."

Joining Brayben is Ian McIntosh as song-writer Barry Mann, Alan Morrissey as King's husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin, Lorna Want as song-writer Cynthia Weil, Glynis Barber as Genie Klein, King's mother, and Gary Trainor as music publisher and producer Don Kirshner.

Vivien Carter, Ed Currie, Oliver Lidert, Fela Lufadeju, Tanya Nicole-Edwards, Terel Nugent, Jay Perry, Tanisha Spring, Lucy St. Louis, Danielle Steers, Dylan Turner and Joanna Woodwood will play iconic musical performers and band members of the era. Ensemble members are Andy Coxon, Jason Denton, Michael Anthony Duke, Joel Harper-Jackson, Rosie Heath, Aisha Jawando, Hannah Jay-Allan and Leigh Lothian.

Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, is based on the early life and career of legendary singer/ songwriter Carole King. Beautiful has book by Douglas McGrath with words and music by Gerry Goffin, Carole King, Barry Mannand Cynthia Weil and is directed by Marc Bruni. Choreography is by Josh Prince with set designs by Derek McLane, costume designs by Alejo Viettii, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski and sound by Brian Ronan. Orchestrations and Music Arrangements are by Steve Sidwell. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical will be produced in London by Paul Blakeand Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

Beautiful - The Carole King Musical is the untold story of her journey from school girl to superstar; from her relationship with husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin, their close friendship and playful rivalry with fellow song-writing duo Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, to her remarkable rise to stardom.
