Tony Award nominee Robin De Jesus (In The Heights, La Cage aux Folles) was among the artists who joined singer-songwriter Blake Pfeil for Blake Pfeil is in Love with a Girl Named... Irene on May 12th a Joe's Pub. Scroll down for photos from the concert!
The set featured Nick Cosgrove (Jersey Boys national tour), Rebecca Faulkenberry (Spider-Man), Katherine Wright, Grace Weber, Sara Kapner (Bare), Elena Ricardo (Mamma Mia!), Jason Gotay (Bring It On: The Musical), Anna Ty Bergman (Fame international tour), Lee Harrington, Matthew John Kacergis, Joe Carroll (Once), Erica Swindell (Once), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Rachel Gavaletz, Ryan Fitzgerald (West Side Story international tour), Nik Walker and De Jesus (In the Heights).
Pfeil's music has been featured at New World Stages, Joe's Pub, the American Theatre of Actors and (le) Poisson Rouge as well as NYC's The Bitter End, where he is a member of the Singer/Songwriter Sessions. His debut EP "Crossing Connecticut" will be released in June.
